I would say Mario since Sonic never was any good at fighting in any of the games he was in. While in Mario he fought all the time. So I think Mario would win because he has more knowledge in fighting then Sonic.

Well, I experimented in Brawl. I put both on 9, and stock. 5 lives. Sonic won 2 out of the 3 matches.

That is in Brawl. Plus Sonic is better in that game, but I thought you were talking about overall, who would win.

That's what I thought and I think that Mario is better, since really the only attack you ever see Sonic doing is the Homing Attack.

Hmm, I would say Samus since her games are basically all about shooting, or fighting things. While Zelda you never see her fight in any game she is in.

Nah1 Because you can't judge things like that, because evrything matters so you have to do it by General stuff like in their true games, because some charcters are really good in their game but could be rubbish in SSB.
